So, in an effort to somewhat remedy that, I proudly present the florilia, a race of creatures who look humanoid but look and act much more similarly to plants. I’ve always felt there are certain archetypes for fantasy races that 5th edition D&D never really covered, and a big offender of this was the lack of plant people.

While I was reading over the latest D&D adventure, Rime of the Frostmaiden, the setting of the Icewind Dale and the various creatures that inhabit it reminded me of these stories and led me to look at Totem Warrior. Animals play a key part in many of these stories, and they are sometimes said to have supernatural powers or to even act as guides. I’ve always been inspired by the stories of the indigenous peoples who inhabit Arctic regions.

This expansion adds options for the Mammoth, the Orca, the Penguin and the Walrus, as well as a guide on how to make spirits out of other various animals found in colder climates. I’d like to do more expansions like this for pre-existing classes and subclasses in future, so hopefully you guys like it.
